I havent worn thongs in many years and when I did, they were cheaper ones.
These are more comfortable than the cheapies I wore many years ago.
I have been wearing plastic sandals which arent as cushy but dont have the thing go through my toes which is a little bit irritating…perhaps because I havent worn thongs in so many years. I like the way the sandals stay on my foot without the thong and I like the Mushs cushion.
I got them on closeout from REI. 2006 models. Only paid $10.93 including shipping. Being the tightwad I am, thats about the most I would pay for something like this without having worn them, And only because it had lots of good reviews.
If these last a few years and I look to replace them, I may pay a bit more depending on how long they last and so forth.

I’ve been a huge fan of Teva’s flip flops for a long time. Comfortable from the first time on. True to size and durable. A must have for beach season.

I love wearing flip-flops and have tried about every variety on the market. Since I wear a large size (13), I have found that for long term fit and comfort, “the lighter, the better.” This flip-flop is ultra light, stylish, and very ‘cushiony’ comfortable. I’ll be buying more of these, in other colors, for sure.

After wearing a pair of Reefs for a long time, I figured I would give the Teva flip flop a try. My wife has several pair of Teva flip flops and she loves them, so I thought it would be a slam dunk. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of my pair. They curled up after about 3 days, they trapped odor very quickly and the size is a bit bigger than the Reefs. The width is fine, but there is about 3/4″ overhang on the front and the back. That, plus the curl equals not satisfied.

I bought the same type of flip flops by the same maker in Hawaii on a trip a few years ago and was amazed on how comfortable they were so when they began to wear out I was hoping to get another pair. Of course I found them in Amazon and was excited to find them. They are not as cushy as the ones I found originally but they are close and appear to be holding up well so far. Well built and comfortable all day on hot summer days.
